What data do we collect?
When you create an account, we store your email address, your name (if you provide it), and a profile picture if you choose to upload one. When you plan a trip, we store the trips, stops, vehicles, and costs you enter. If you write in the travel diary, we store the text, photos, and location/temperature at the time you post (only if you've granted the app location permission in your browser).
The AI assistant
Messages you send to the AI assistant are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. We store how many messages you've sent per month to track usage limits, not the content of the conversation itself for longer than needed to display it in your current session.
Maps and location data
Addresses and routes you enter are sent to Google Maps Platform to calculate driving distances and display maps. Campsite data comes from OpenStreetMap. No location data is shared with other users unless you choose to share a trip yourself.
Sharing with other users
Friends and people who follow you automatically see your shared trips and diary posts in their feed. A public share link makes a trip visible to anyone with the link, without logging in. You can stop sharing a trip at any time.
Cookies and ads
We use cookies required to keep you logged in and to remember your settings. If you accept non-essential cookies, we may show relevant ads to free users — Premium users never see ads. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never store your card details ourselves — only which plan you have and when your subscription renews.
Delete your account
Contact us if you want to delete your account and all associated data. If you delete a trip yourself, all data linked to it (days, stops, diary posts, photos, comments, costs) disappears immediately and permanently.
